Okay.. so.. here goes. Be patient with me is all I ask. I'd further ask to be gentle.. but.. this IS the internet; and, I know that if I don't cut the mustard.. I'll be chopped up and fed (in tiny bite-sized pieces) to the Rottweillers of the world wide web (otherwise and heretofore known as "mac users" and/or power-bloggers).
This is my virgin blogging experience. Sure.. I've prated and prattled and opined and got up on my soap-box and bitched and whined and complained. Once.. I even cajoled (that was right after capering though).
I was turned on to joeuser.com while browsing the forums, of which I'm a member, of a popular gaming company (more opining and soap-boxing about THEM later). The actual link I clicked to get me here was ~dang.. i'm scrambling thru the forum atm actually LOOKING for the post.. .the hyper-sensitive mods there just MAY have deleted it~ AHAH.. Here it is I LOVED this article as it so poignantly points out the comedy of errors that several hundred of us are having with a currently released game title. Draginol... if I end up blogging half as well as you do.. I'll be impressed with myself. I've read a couple dozen of your posts now and they just this side of damned fantastic (and frequently well on the other side of it). psssst.. I'm pondering emailing a copy of that post to David Braben.. the grand pubah at Frontier Developments. Maybe it'll open his eyes as to how things should be done. It, also, hurt my heart as I've given tons of my hard-earned cash to Strategy First for various games over the years. If I'd known that they were screwing you little guys so badly.. I would have just kept on playing solitaire. I'm, also, gonna look around for a copy of GC and TPM when and if I can.
So.. without any further ado... I submit myself for your (the community as a whole) inspection. (that sort of sounded dirty.. but I still like it anyway)
